I’ve got a lovely job that I’m going to do with Björn Runge, who directed “The Wife,” which I thought was magnificent. It’s a small film about Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

Emilia Clarke

I remember the boys—our writers and showrunners—telling me that Daenerys’s arc is that of Lawrence of Arabia. I watched “Lawrence of Arabia,” and I was, like, “Great, cool. He’s brilliant. He survived, and it’s wonderful.” But then you remember how that movie ended, with Lawrence’s disintegration. I didn’t quite put those two things together.

Tuesday night you need a little kind of surreal optimism and no one does that better than Wes Anderson. I feel like "Moonrise Kingdom" has that giddy childish joy.

Emilia Clarke
Actress
My brother forced me to watch Terminator quite young, so I was a bit traumatised by the apparent ketchup in most of the scenes. I revisited it as I was getting older, and then in preparation for playing Daenerys (in Game Of Thrones), I watched Sarah Connor back, in order to kind of embody some other strong women on screen.
