Game Night

Max and Annie's weekly game night gets kicked up a notch when Max's brother Brooks arranges a murder mystery party -- complete with fake thugs and federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it's all supposed to be part of the game. As the competitors set out to solve the case, they start to learn that neither the game nor Brooks are what they seem to be. The friends soon find themselves in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn over the course of one chaotic night.

If you're looking for a light-hearted comedy to watch, then I'd definitely recommend it. The cast does a great job of portraying the different characters, and I found myself laughing out loud throughout most of the movie. That said, it's not without its flaws. Some of the jokes feel a bit too forced and there are a few plot points that don't quite make sense. But overall, I thought it was a lot of fun and would definitely watch it again.

Lost in Translation

Two lost souls visiting Tokyo -- the young, neglected wife of a photographer and a washed-up movie star shooting a TV commercial -- find an odd solace and pensive freedom to be real in each other's company, away from their lives in America.
Rachel Cooper
I thought the movie is great. I really enjoyed the way it portrayed the feeling of disconnection and loneliness that can come with being in a foreign country. Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson did a great job of portraying the characters' isolation and emotional detachment from their surroundings.

The film tells the true story of Chris McCandless, a young man who abandon everything he knows. This film is well made and the acting is excellent!
