The captain of a submarine sunk by the Japanese during WWII is finally given a chance to skipper another sub after a year of working a desk job. His singleminded determination for revenge against the destroyer that sunk his previous vessel puts his new crew in unneccessary danger.

The Master really impressed me. I thought the performances in it were astonishing and I’m a big fan of his work in particular. I found it an intriguing piece of cinema that I couldn’t quite- I still can’t quite get my head around. It was wide open, and suggestful, and moving, very emotional and disturbing.

The life of Danny Wright, a salesman forever on the road, veers into dangerous and surreal territory when he wanders into a Mexican bar and meets a mysterious stranger, Julian, who's very likely a hit man.
