A fictional screenplay with fictional characters made so well that it felt like a biographical nonfiction drama, like a considerately staged documentary. Identity of place and people. I could smell and taste it.

PTA is Events teller more than a story teller , is not interested weather the movie is linear or non-linear , He Just takes the rest of his time Explaining the Characters , and in this one he explained his characters' ideology , and the difference between them , It's a religion , that has its own way on Praying , Worshiping , and their God .

The Master really impressed me. I thought the performances in it were astonishing and I’m a big fan of his work in particular. I found it an intriguing piece of cinema that I couldn’t quite- I still can’t quite get my head around. It was wide open, and suggestful, and moving, very emotional and disturbing.

What was the last performance you saw that got under your skin? Joaquin Phoenix in The Master. I loved him in that. I just thought it was the most original, relentless, honest, and tragic performance that I’ve seen in modern times.

I came home and I watched the only other his movie available on Netflix (cause I'm a millenial) - "The Master." And watching this film I had the visceral reaction I had 6 years ago watching "Dark Knight".

"I think this is becoming my favorite film of all time. It’s up there with Goodfellas and Casino and it might’ve shifted to number one of all time. You have to put Paul Thomas Anderson at the top of the list of best filmmakers. He’s gonna go down, like, Kubrick-level. His movies don’t shake the world like they should. The Master is just pretty much a perfect film. Its photography, its acting, the performances from Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joachim Phoenix, and Amy Adams, it doesn’t get any better than that."
