Watched “Yesterday” tonight. What a fantastic movie. Reminded me how fucking amazing The Beatles were. Really well acted too. I enjoyed the shit out of it. The great Paul Mooney once told me that if you want to be inspired to perform go be entertained. I never forgot that lesson, and this movie reminded me of it like no other.

Out of all the people in movies that played an expert pool player no one ever nailed it like Jackie Gleason in The Hustler. Classic film, as someone who can play a little you can see that Gleason was legit. Smooth stroke and looked like a real player. If you haven’t seen the movie check it out. It’s a real gem.
