TV Shows

Abbott Elementary
In this workplace comedy, a group of dedicated, passionate teachers — and a slightly tone-deaf principal — are brought together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life. Though these incredible public servants may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do — even if they don’t love the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children.

How To with John Wilson
In a uniquely hilarious odyssey of self-discovery and cultural observation, documentary filmmaker and self-described “anxious New Yorker” John Wilson covertly and obsessively films the lives of his fellow New Yorkers while attempting to give everyday advice on relatable topics. The awkward contradictions of modern life are eased by Wilson’s candid, unpolished commentary. Building upon Wilson’s previously released “how to” short films, each episode takes wildly unexpected turns but is grounded in John’s refreshing honesty.

Lost
Stripped of everything, the survivors of a horrific plane crash must work together to stay alive. But the island holds many secrets.

Rick and Morty: The Anime

World Star TV

Naked and Afraid

Gogglebox

Killing Eve
A security consultant hunts for a ruthless assassin. Equally obsessed with each other, they go head to head in an epic game of cat-and-mouse.

Fleabag
Fleabag is thrown roughly up against the walls of contemporary London, sleeping with anyone who dares to stand too close, squeezing money from wherever she can, rejecting anyone who tries to help her, and keeping up her bravado throughout.

Donald Glover
Actor, Musician
I went to work the next day and I told all my writers to watch the show, cuz I thought I honestly was like this is incredible. It's like it's new to me. It's not easy to surprise us anymore as an audience. We're not innocent, you know, like like an apathetic teenager we have endless opportunities and resources, and endless chances to see something special.
But we've become more and more bored by the nature of our due to our endless access to content. It's rare and in really exciting to see something that feels new, and Phoebe has a unique expression for every emotion that leads you to from like discomfort to sympathy, to laughing out loud with the slightest shift of a glance into the camera lens.

American Dad!
The series focuses on an eccentric motley crew that is the Smith family and their three housemates: Father, husband, and breadwinner Stan Smith; his better half housewife, Francine Smith; their college-aged daughter, Hayley Smith; and their high-school-aged son, Steve Smith. Outside of the Smith family, there are three additional main characters, including Hayley's boyfriend turned husband, Jeff Fischer; the family's man-in-a-goldfish-body pet, Klaus; and most notably the family's zany alien, Roger, who is "full of masquerades, brazenness, and shocking antics."

O.J.: Made in America
The rise and fall of American football star, O.J. Simpson, from his days growing up in Los Angeles to his murder trial that polarized the country.

Donald Glover
Actor, Musician
The last series Glover “really, really became obsessed with” was the five-part ESPN documentary O.J.: Made in America. “[The O. J. Simpson] story was like Prince or Michael [Jackson]. The same way we won’t see artists like that again, we’re not going to see a story like that again. [The documentary] was beautifully done and spoke the truth about so many things.”
