@fleabag is so good I wish I’d never seen it.

I feel like there's been a lot of good TV lately. I’m really into Fleabag – I just watched the whole season in probably three days.

Harsh, but funny, powerful, sad. In the end uplifting.

These characters like Killing Eve or Fleabag or Russian Doll—they make mistakes. Those are the characters I want to see. I wanted to make sure Catherine fit into that.

In an effort to savor it I’m watching Fleabag season two slowly but goddamn if the first episode isn’t the most pristinely written episode of television....

I did not watch the show until after and then of course I loved it and thought it was f–king perfect, but I was happy I waited until then.

I went to work the next day and I told all my writers to watch the show, cuz I thought I honestly was like this is incredible. It's like it's new to me. It's not easy to surprise us anymore as an audience. We're not innocent, you know, like like an apathetic teenager we have endless opportunities and resources, and endless chances to see something special. But we've become more and more bored by the nature of our due to our endless access to content. It's rare and in really exciting to see something that feels new, and Phoebe has a unique expression for every emotion that leads you to from like discomfort to sympathy, to laughing out loud with the slightest shift of a glance into the camera lens.

Ever since I saw Fleabag, I’ve been all ‘I can’t wait to see this woman host Saturday Night Live’ and it’s happening now + I get to be there too = I am in shambles. 😭🙏 Oct 5th
