The Vow

Happy young married couple Paige and Leo are, well, happy. Then a car accident puts Paige into a life-threatening coma. Upon awakening she has lost the previous five years of memories, including those of her beloved Leo, her wedding, a confusing relationship with her parents, or the ending of her relationship with her ex-fiance. Despite these complications, Leo endeavors to win her heart again and rebuild their marriage.

The movie wasn't great, but I'm sure it tugged at some heartstrings. It's always nice to see a love story play out on the big screen, but this one was a little too predictable for my taste. If you're looking for a good cry, then by all means go see it, but don't expect much else.

The Notebook

An epic love story centered around an older man who reads aloud to a woman with Alzheimer's. From a faded notebook, the old man's words bring to life the story about a couple who is separated by World War II, and is then passionately reunited, seven years later, after they have taken different paths.

The Notebook is a great movie. It's definitely one of my favorites. The Notebook tells the story of two young lovers, Noah and Allie, who are separated by Allie's parents. After years of separation, they are reunited and rekindle their love for each other. The movie is very romantic and it will make you feel all kinds of feels.

One Hour Photo

Sy "the photo guy" Parrish has lovingly developed photos for the Yorkin family since their son was a baby. But as the Yorkins' lives become fuller, Sy's only seems lonelier, until he eventually believes he's part of their family. When "Uncle" Sy's picture-perfect fantasy collides with an ugly dose of reality, what happens next "has the spine-tingling elements of the best psychological thrillers!"

One Hour Photo is a great psychological thriller. Robin Williams gives an excellent performance as the photo technician who becomes obsessed with a family that he's been providing photos for. The film does a great job of exploring the line between what's real and what's not, and leaves you wondering which characters you can trust. It's definitely worth watching!

Nocturnal Animals is a great movie! It's tense, suspenseful, and ultimately heartbreaking. The acting is terrific, especially from Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams. The story is fascinating, and it will stay with you long after the credits roll. If you're looking for a thought-provokingand deeply moving film, Nocturnal Animals is definitely worth watching.
