What’s your ‘can’t miss’ TV show right now? Game of Thrones, obviously.

Game Of Thrones won my heart last season though

BROWN: I wanted to ask you about Game of Thrones as well. Were you a fan of the show before you were cast? BRODIE SANGSTER: I got the part and they sent me seasons One and Two, and I watched them all within a week and realized I was going to be part of something very, very cool. But I had no idea. BROWN: Who, in your opinion, is the ultimate bass player? BRODIE SANGSTER: Well, people would say Jaco Pastorius, and he is amazing. He’s not really my personal style, but he’s like the Hendrix of bass players. Genius. He would play the fretless bass, which is halfway between an upright double bass and an electric fretted bass, so you’d still get that slidey sound. You have to be perfect, because if you’re slightly off, you hear it. He was very good at that. Otherwise, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Completely different thing. Or Larry Graham, who invented that kind of funk, slap sound before Flea came along and mixed it with a bit of heavy punk style.

Bad final season but the first four seasons is some of the best i have ever seen.

I waited six years so I could watch all seven seasons of Game of Thrones with absolutely no interruptions. You all did it wrong. I win.

Unmissable show? Game Of Thrones and The Walking Dead. First of all, I love the political intrigue [in Game Of Thrones]. You really have to pay attention. You can't leave the room and fold some laundry and come back in. You have to sit, you have to pay attention, because there's so much going on. And I appreciate that kind of storytelling. Also, I cannot get over the production values.

Game of Thrones, that's a good show.

Mystery, magic, and dragons, all rendered with eye-popping special effects. Add to this a wheels-within-wheels story line and the best ensemble cast on television. I’ve been particularly charmed by Maisie Williams as Arya Stark.
