On Tyranny

#1 New York Times Bestseller • A historian of fascism offers a guide for surviving and resisting America's turn towards authoritarianism. The Founding Fathers tried to protect us from the threat they knew, the tyranny that overcame ancient democracy. Our one advantage is that we might learn from their experience. On Tyranny is a call to arms and a guide to resistance, with invaluable ideas for how we can preserve our freedoms in the uncertain years to come."Mr. Snyder is a rising public intellectual unafraid to make bold connections between past and present." —The New York Times
Steve Rogers
Superhero
History repeats itself, and Steve Rogers understands this more than most. He’d appreciate Timothy’s Snyder’s On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century, which offers examples of how to protect democracy from authoritarian and totalitarian regimes, drawing parallels between current events and 20th century threats like the rise of fascism and Nazism in Europe. Timely, reflective, and most importantly, concise -- at 128 pages, it can be finished in one sitting -- On Tyranny is the perfect read for Steve, a man ready to save the world but without a lot of time to spare.

Uncle Tom's Cabin

Steve Rogers
Superhero
Judging from his name and his uniform I would have to say “Uncle Tom's Cabin” because it shows all the stereotypes that are bad about America and he could use it as a guideline to help him do the opposite things which are good. I'm speaking as a Canadian, though so I tend to try ald look at the correct side of things. Mock me if you Will, eh.(We really all don't say that ALL the time!)
