The Witcher

Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster-hunter for hire, journeys toward his destiny in a turbulent world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.
Asa Butterfield
Actor
Binged The Witcher yesterday and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Despite the predictable moments and (sometimes) questionable decision making from the characters, it was a lot of fun. Fantastic performances from Henry and Anya....some of the best fight sword fight choreography I’ve ever seen and a rich, grounded fantasy world with jaw-droppingly beautiful landscapes. Cavill‘s Geralt mixes a world-weary dryness with a man longing for a more meaningful existence, without it feeling cliche.

Game of Thrones

Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Friction between the houses leads to full-scale war. All while a very ancient evil awakens in the farthest north. Amidst the war, a neglected military order of misfits, the Night's Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and icy horrors beyond.
Asa Butterfield
Actor
The Red Wedding spiced the series up a bit. There's that whole idea where you don't know who the good guys are now. I don't think anyone saw it coming. Everyone has their own favourite character now.
