Where would you recommend for a first date? I’d start in Soho mid-afternoon and wander the streets. It’s the best place for an adventure. We’d end up in Ronnie Scott’s for some jazz, after having something to eat at Park Chinois. The best Chinese food ever!

One of her favorite NYC restaurants is Shabu-Tatsu in the East Village. “They have this boiling pot and you just shove the meat in it and let it cook.”

It would have to be the Fish and Crab Shack on Finolhu in the Maldives. The most amazingly fun party island. This spot at the end of a long slick of white beach is the place where I’ve had some of my longest lunches ever – lots of pink wine, the freshest crab sliders, beautiful spaghetti carbonara, then dancing as the sun sets and long swims in the sea just as it turns dark and the stars come out.

There's plenty of fish on the menu too, of course - whether fresh from the barbecue at Lotus, my favourite restaurant by the pool, or the wicked fish and chips from room service, pure hole-up-in-your-villa comfort food.
