I was a huge fan of Paul Newman and Steve McQueen. And then the generation of British actors ahead of me people like Gary Oldman, Tim Roth, Sean Penn, Daniel Day-Lewis were huge heroes. What I loved about them, in particular, was the variety of roles they were playing.
