But in the matches that he did play, he was hugely successful. In fact, when Harry played he only ever lost two games, and both times it was due to circumstances beyond his control; fainting after Dementors went into the Hogwarts grounds without permission, and that very unfortunate incident when Cormac McLaggen knocked him out with a Beater’s bat.

The Sorting Hat is one of the cleverest enchanted objects most witches and wizards will ever meet. It literally contains the intelligence of the four founders, can speak (through a rip near its brim) and is skilled at Legilimency, which enables it to look into the wearer’s head and divine his or her capabilities or mood. It can even respond to the thoughts of the wearer.

Plain work robes are the main constituent of the Hogwarts uniform. Three sets of plain work robes are required for Hogwarts students. In the early 1900s, these robes were blue, however in later years, these robes changed to black.
