Updated: 7 Sep 2020
The Biblioteca Angelica (Angelica Library) is a public library located in Rome, Italy front of the Piazza Sant'Agostino square, adjacent to the church of Sant'Agostino, not far from Piazza Navona. The library holds about 180,000 volumes of manuscripts (among them Codex Angelicus) and 1,100 incunabula, which formerly belonged to the Augustinians. These works are important for our knowledge of the history of the Reformation and Counter-Reformation.

Every time I go I'm amazed by the beauty of the city - the architecture, the timeless grandeur - and also by all the hidden places to be discovered: the incredible Angelica Library or the gardens of Villa Borghese filled with rare and exotic flowers.
