- Well, the first film that I remember seeing was the black and white original 'King Kong' with my dad downtown and bursting into tears, and falling in love with movies at that point.

This is the famous early horror classic about a giant ape with a weakness for a beautiful blonde.

“My number one favorite film was the first film I ever saw – I was six-years-old before I ever went to the movies – and that film is the original King Kong. It’s still, I think, the best King Kong.”

You know, because I’m 61 now, when I first saw King Kong, black and white. That was amazing! That struck me. Any film that strikes you, that’s your film. That was King Kong.
