A small unit of U.S. soldiers, alone at the remote Combat Outpost Keating, located deep in the valley of three mountains in Afghanistan, battles to defend against an overwhelming force of Taliban fighters in a coordinated attack. The Battle of Kamdesh, as it was known, was the bloodiest American engagement of the Afghan War in 2009 and Bravo Troop 3-61 CAV became one of the most decorated units of the 19-year conflict.

The Outpost is a great movie! It's a really suspenseful and thrilling ride that leaves you on the edge of your seat the whole time. The acting is great, and the cinematography is top notch. If you're looking for a great movie to watch, I highly recommend The Outpost.

Just watched The Outpost based on best-selling book. It is an incredible story of courage, and sacrifice by American soldiers in Afghanistan. The movie is intense and illuminating and i keep thinking about it.

Most people only know @jaketapper as a guest on @LateNightSeth but did you also know he has his own show? And he's written books? And they adapted one of his books into a movie? And it's very good and available to watch this weekend?
