Moomy, I love you, but I gotta talk about Queen B for a second. Homecoming is Beyonce's documentary of her Coachella concert in 2018.I just think it is such an important piece of work and I encourage you all to see it, because you're witnessing an artist at her most potent, working on the deepest cultural levels.

@Beyonce's 'Homecoming' exemplifies and rightly celebrates the spirit and legacy of HBCU's. She brought our culture and tradition to the world stage and as a proud Howard graduate, I can't wait to watch.

That documentary... It just felt so meaningful and important.

I also love that your new Netflix film, Homecoming, is informed by the Black leaders, thinkers, and poets who paved the way for folks like us. I love that it’s both a celebration and a call to action. And I love that you’re using this film to inspire the next generation of history makers and record breakers who’ll run the world in the years ahead. So to you my friend, I just wanna say, keep telling the truth because you can do it in a way that no one else can.

I think I’ve watched Homecoming at least once a day. If I’m on the elliptical I will always watch Homecoming on my phone. I cried multiple times during the film, but for sure when she first comes out and there’s a shot of a girl in the audience and she has her hand on her chest and her mouth is wide open.
