This is very interesting and (once again) was an idea raised some years ago by @tferriss in the book, The 4 Hour Body. Time to reread 4HB and tabulate the prescient statements. Journal Club anyone?

Hat tip to @tferriss who discussed this many years ago in his excellent book the 4Hour Body. In fact, several of the key points made by Dr. Eisenberg validate each of the points Tim made based on meta analyses, in vitro and in vivo data.

Amazing book for anyone wanting to improve their body. Core concept is the “minimum effective dose”: the smallest dose that will produce a desired outcome. Anything beyond that is wasteful. This documents Tim's years-long pursuit of the minimum effective dose of everything, from weight loss to muscle-building. Related subjects include orgasm, sleep, and medical tourism.

I make a cup of coffee for me, a cup of tea for Deb. We come back up, I have a cold shower first—another thing I learned from you, from your 4-Hour Body book when I was getting ready for Wolverine, the old cold bath. So I have a cold shower every morning.
