Arthur Rubinstein, the classical pianist, has two volumes of memoirs, “My Young Years” and “My Many Years,” which are unbelievably detailed and just filled with amazing stories from a time when the world was rapidly changing: from the late 19th century, across two world wars, to the 1970s.
