This is one of the best novels I’ve ever read. It’s surreal, strange, and absolutely “mysteriously affecting.” It’s also a wickedly challenging read. I think you need to read daily until you pass 100 pages, as there’s a time-warped web of characters (see pic). I also view Kindle version as a necessity, as you’ll look up a LOT of unusual words. It’s a special book but might only grab 10% of those who try and read it. I failed three times over two years until I finally committed to reading 100 pages inside of a week on Kindle. Once you’ve passed the threshold, though, this is altered states of consciousness in page-turning form.
